What it is

The nipple size and shape vary greatly from one woman to another. Some patients have unusually large nipples, that can cause chaffing, irritation and self-consciousness. Whether from the early stages of breast development or from the constant suction of breastfeeding, some women find enlarged nipples unattractive. Nipple Reduction surgery can correct this issue. Through small incisions around the nipple, the height and/or diameter of the nipple can be reduced.

Nipple Reduction surgery can correct:

  • The size of the nipples

  • Asymmetry of the nipples

  • Irregularities of the nipples

Options

Nipple inversion surgery is often performed in combination with other surgeries such as Mastopexy or Bilateral Breast Augmentation.
